The numbers that actually make you money.
Most shop owners either don't look at the numbers or drown in them. SalesThumb ships with a curated Monday-morning dashboard — the 10 KPIs service shops actually run on — plus drill-downs into profit-per-job, booking-conversion funnels, and per-installer scorecards that refresh in realtime as jobs close. Every number is week-over-week and year-over-year comparable. A weekly email digest lands in your inbox. A custom-report builder lets you slice by any dimension. And it all quietly powers the alerts — 'your no-show rate spiked' lands on your phone before it hurts your week.
Launching soon — get early access.

The Monday dashboard — 5 minutes and you know the week
Open reports, the dashboard loads in under 400ms, and the 10 numbers that matter are right there: last-week revenue with a +/- arrow, booking conversion with the slow step highlighted, top installer, top service, top vehicle class, no-show rate, avg ticket, and the 3 alerts you should actually act on. No building dashboards. No picking from 80 widgets. The dashboard that ships is the dashboard the best tint-shop owners would build given a week to do it.

Profit per job: where the money actually comes from
Revenue is vanity. Margin is sanity. SalesThumb calculates per-job profit automatically from the COGS feed (film length × roll cost) + labor (installer time × rate) + processor fees, and shows you which jobs made money and which didn't. Sort by customer, vehicle class, service, or film. Spot the loss-leader ('Teslas are eating our labor budget'), the hero product ('Prime XR 70 is 64% margin'), and the installer drift ('Jordan's waste rate is up 3pt').
- Automatic COGS from film inventory + labor time
- Sort by customer, vehicle class, service, or film
- Loss-leader detection: highlighted in the margin column
- Per-film profit ranking to guide purchasing decisions
- Export any slice to CSV for accounting + tax prep

Booking funnel: find the leak
Every service shop loses money somewhere between 'quote sent' and 'job paid.' SalesThumb's funnel shows you exactly where: quote sent → viewed → approved → booked → showed-up → completed → paid. Each step has a conversion rate, a dollar value of the drop-off, and a 'fix this' link back to the setting that drives it (deposit toggle, reminder cadence, follow-up automation). Stop guessing where the leak is.
- 7-stage funnel from quote-sent to paid
- Dollar value of the drop-off at each stage
- Benchmarks vs. other tint shops of similar size
- Direct links to fix: deposit toggle, reminder cadence, etc.
- Filter by service, vehicle class, traffic source

Installer scorecard your techs will actually look at
A leaderboard is only useful if the techs want to look at it. SalesThumb's scorecard shows per-tech revenue, jobs, avg ticket, average time vs. norm, waste rate, tip share, and review score — ranked and updated in realtime. Hit your weekly target? Green banner. Miss the waste benchmark? Coaching tip. It turns the daily job board into a friendly competition that also quietly fixes the margin drift you'd never otherwise spot.

- Time vs. norm by service (is Alex 15% faster on ceramics?)

Who it's for
Built specifically for…
- Shop owners who want 5-minute Monday reviews, not 5-hour spreadsheets
- Franchise operators rolling up numbers across multiple locations
- Installers competing (friendly!) on a realtime leaderboard
- Accountants who need clean CSV exports for tax prep
- Growth-stage shops that need to spot margin drift before it hurts
What it replaces
The old way…
- Manually updated Google Sheets that nobody opens on Monday
- QuickBooks reports that take 20 minutes to massage
- Instagram DM check-ins with your GM about 'how's it going'
- Spot-checking a handful of invoices when something feels off
- Every tint-shop owner's least favorite 10 PM Sunday ritual
How it works
Set it up once. Run it forever.
- 1
Pre-built for your business
The dashboards ship pre-filled with the reports service shops actually care about. No building dashboards from scratch.
- 2
Compare periods
Every number shows week-over-week and year-over-year. Green up-arrows, red down-arrows, target lines where you set them.
- 3
Email to your inbox
Weekly / monthly digest lands in your email with the top 10 numbers. Read on the go — no login required.
How a shop actually uses this
Monday morning you open the Reports tab: last week was $14,200 revenue (up 8%), top installer is Marco with $4,100, booking conversion slipped to 58% (investigate), no-shows were 6 (high — add deposit on booking). Five minutes, you know exactly where to focus this week.
Questions
Good to know.
- Can I build a custom report?
- Pro tier and above include a custom-report builder with 40+ dimensions and 20+ metrics. Or export the raw data to your BI tool of choice.
- Does it work across multiple locations?
- Yes — Scale tier's HQ dashboard rolls up metrics across all your shops, with per-shop drill-in.
- How fresh is the data?
- Dashboards refresh in realtime (under 5s) as jobs close, payments process, and roll-usage is logged. Nothing is batch-processed overnight.
- Can I set alerts when a number hits a threshold?
- Yes — every metric can trigger an email or SMS alert. Common ones: revenue below target, no-shows above target, claim rate spike, inventory below threshold, deposit-to-booked below 80%.
- Does it track tips and commission?
- Yes — tips are logged per job and per installer, commission rules are configurable, and the installer leaderboard shows both. Optional payroll export on Scale tier.
- Can my accountant log in without seeing the rest of the app?
- Yes — create an Accountant role with read-only access to Reports + Invoices. They can export to QuickBooks or CSV without seeing customers or the calendar.
