Run 1 shop or 500+ from one dashboard.
The day you open your second shop, the cracks show. Two spreadsheets. Two price books. Two Slack threads with managers texting you photos of invoices. SalesThumb HQ is the rollup that makes multi-location feel like one business again: consolidated revenue + margin + staff utilization across every shop, a catalog you edit once and push to all locations in five seconds, royalty and marketing-fund calculations that build themselves each period, and per-shop guardrails so franchisees can't quietly drift off-brand. Open it Monday morning and you know — in under a minute — which shop needs help this week and which one is already winning.
Launching soon — get early access.

The org dashboard — 60 seconds and you know the network
Every shop on one screen. A KPI strip along the top shows the network's revenue, jobs, margin, and conversion — with last-week comparison and a click-through to the drill-down. Below, each shop is a card with its own mini-dashboard: revenue, jobs, installer count, and a traffic-light health indicator. Houston's crushing it in green, Austin's in amber (investigate), San Antonio's on track, Dallas is flashing red on installer utilization. You know where to focus before your coffee's cold.
- One screen · every shop · live numbers, no refresh-wait
- Traffic-light health so bad news surfaces before the Monday call
- Every card drills into the shop's full dashboard in one click
- Same KPIs you trust per-shop, now rolled up and comparable
- Shareable snapshot URL for investors or franchise HQ meetings

Compare shops side-by-side — find who's winning, and why
Pick 2 to 4 locations. Every KPI stacks next to each other — revenue, jobs, margin, installer leaderboard, top services, booking conversion, no-show rate, warranty claims. Spot the pattern fast: Houston's conversion is 12pt higher than Dallas because Houston requires deposits; Austin's margin is 6pt lower because their ceramic mix is off. The right column highlights the delta on every row, so the story jumps out at you instead of hiding in the numbers.
- Stack 2–4 shops on every metric, every report
- Delta column calls out the gap in ±% / ±$ terms
- Drill into any cell to see the underlying jobs / invoices
- Filter by date range, service, vehicle class, installer — compare apples-to-apples
- Save a compare view and auto-email it weekly to your ops team

Why Houston outperforms Fort Worth
12 awards granted in 30 days (vs 1) drives 88% utilization. Six drips active re-engaged 142 customers — Fort Worth runs zero. Repeat-customer rate gap (41% vs 21%) is the lagging output of both motions compounding.

Catalog push — edit once, live everywhere in 5 seconds
Your supplier bumps Prime XR 70 by $8/ft. You add a new ceramic SKU for summer. You change a warranty term. In a single-shop world, that's 3 phone calls to 3 managers. In HQ, you edit once at org level, pick destination shops (all, or just the ones on the same supplier), and push. Every shop gets the new SKU live in 5 seconds. Optional lock/suggest/ignore mode per field so franchisees can keep local flex on labor rate while prices and warranty stay brand-consistent.
- Film products, pricing rules, templates, brand kits — all pushable
- Destination picker: all shops, a group, or a single location
- Lock / suggest / ignore per field — brand consistency with local flex
- Dry-run preview shows exactly what changes at each shop before pushing
- Full audit log: who pushed what, when, to which shops

Royalty + marketing fund — paperwork that builds itself
Every period, SalesThumb adds up gross sales per shop, applies your royalty formula (flat %, tiered brackets, minimum floor, cap), splits out the marketing-fund contribution, and generates a per-shop statement and a consolidated payout. Invoice the franchisee in one click (Stripe ACH / card) or push to QuickBooks. The old spreadsheet-and-cross-your-fingers workflow is gone — the number matches to the penny because it's computed from the same sales data the shop sees.
- Royalty formula editor: flat / tiered / min-floor / cap
- Marketing-fund split calculated + invoiced automatically
- Per-shop statement PDF sent on the day of the period close
- One-click Stripe ACH collection or QuickBooks push
- History view: every period, every shop, every calculation line

Document library + franchisee acknowledgments
Your FDD, your ops manual, your brand standards, your training videos — all in one place, searchable, version-tracked. When you push a new version, every franchisee gets an in-app notification and an email. They acknowledge with a click (signature captured, IP logged), and HQ sees a live roster of who's signed and who's behind. Compliance audits that used to take weeks now happen in the margin column of a table.
- FDDs, ops manuals, brand kits, training SOPs — one searchable library
- Version history: diff any two versions · roll back in one click
- Acknowledgment tracking: who signed, when, with IP + timestamp
- Auto-reminder cadence for unsigned franchisees
- Granular access: some docs are org-wide, some are tier-specific

Who it's for
Built specifically for…
- Owners running their second (or third, or twentieth) location
- Franchisors enforcing brand + pricing standards across a network
- Regional operators comparing shops to spot best practices
- HQ finance teams tracking royalty + marketing fund without spreadsheets
- Ops leaders shipping new SOPs + making sure everyone actually reads them
What it replaces
The old way…
- Three Google Sheets + a Slack DM trying to compare shops
- Emailing PDF price books every time a supplier cost changes
- Quarterly royalty spreadsheet reconciliation done by hand
- 'Did you see the new SOP?' phone calls to every franchisee
- Hiring a multi-location ops coordinator just to keep the books aligned
How it works
Set it up once. Run it forever.
- 1
Create an Organization
Your first shop stays as-is. Upgrade to Scale, turn on HQ, connect existing shops. The org becomes the parent, shops become children.
- 2
Push catalogs down
Film products, pricing rules, SMS templates, warranty terms — edit once at org level, push to any or all shops with lock / suggest / ignore per field.
- 3
See the whole picture
Revenue, bookings, staff utilization, COGS, royalty — all rolled up in one dashboard, with drill-down by shop.
How a shop actually uses this
You own 4 shops across Texas. From HQ you see: Houston is crushing it at $28k/week, Austin is at $12k (investigate), San Antonio is on track, Dallas has an installer shortage. You push a new ceramic film product to all 4 shops in one click. The April royalty period closes overnight — every shop's statement is in their inbox by 7 AM, and the $4,820 in marketing-fund contributions auto-debits Friday. Every shop gets the new SKU live in 5 seconds.
Questions
Good to know.
- Is this separate software from the per-shop platform?
- No — same codebase, same login. HQ is a role + a navigation layer over the existing shops. Turn it on, turn it off, the shops keep working either way.
- Can franchisees override org-pushed pricing?
- Configurable per item. Push some rules as locked (brand consistency on warranty terms or ceramic pricing) and others as suggestions (local market flex on labor rate or tint removal). You pick the mix.
- How does royalty calculation work?
- You set the formula once — flat %, tiered brackets ('5% up to $30k, 4% above'), minimum floor, maximum cap. SalesThumb applies it to each shop's gross sales per period and generates a statement. You can invoice via Stripe ACH or push to QuickBooks.
- Do franchisees see everything I see?
- No. Franchisees see their own shop's data only. HQ role sees rollup + drill into any shop. You can create regional-manager roles with access to a subset of shops too.
- What happens if a franchisee leaves the network?
- You can freeze their shop (read-only access, cancels new bookings), fully off-board (transfer the shop out of the org, their data stays with them), or terminate (remove access, data archived for compliance retention).
- Does HQ cost extra on top of the per-shop subscription?
- Scale tier includes HQ for up to 5 locations. Beyond 5, it's a flat per-shop add-on — less than what most franchisors spend on a single spreadsheet coordinator.
