- Can I require a deposit per service?
- Yes — global default, with per-service overrides. Deposits are collected via Stripe at booking and credited to the invoice.
- What about complex jobs that need a quote first?
- Mark those services as 'quote-only' — the booking page shows a lead-capture form that kicks off your quote workflow instead.
- Can I use my own domain?
- Yes. Point a CNAME from book.yourdomain.com to bookings.salesthumb.com and we handle SSL. Typically live in under an hour.
- What if two customers book the same slot at the same time?
- Whichever finishes checkout first wins the slot. The second customer sees the slot turn red and is prompted to pick another. No double-bookings, ever.
- Can I hide the booking page and use it only by link?
- Yes. Mark it private and share the direct link. Useful for VIP-only pricing, B2B fleet work, or waitlist-only services.
