The 6-photo standard
For every install, capture at minimum: 1. Pre-install: vehicle in the bay, full front-3/4 2. Tape-down: showing the tape lines (pros notice this) 3. Mid-install: a tech actively working 4. Detail shot: a panel close-up showing the work 5. Post-install: full front-3/4 (matches photo 1 — before/after side-by-side ready) 6. Customer with keys: the optional "hero shot" handed back
This 6-photo standard takes ~3 minutes per job and dramatically outperforms ad-hoc capture.
Capture from any phone
The SalesThumb installer mobile app or any phone with the web app can capture. Photos auto-attach to the customer record + the job + the warranty record.
Per-panel for PPF / wrap
For PPF and full wraps, the system prompts you to capture each panel individually (hood, front bumper, fenders, headlights, mirrors, A-pillars). The gallery groups by panel automatically.
Customer-facing gallery
After job completion, the customer gets a shareable link to a clean gallery view: their car, photos arranged in the standard sequence, branded with your shop. They share it on Instagram → tag your shop → free organic reach.
AI QC inspector
Pro tier auto-checks every photo set against a 10-point quality checklist (focus, lighting, frame, completeness). Low-quality photos get flagged so the tech can re-shoot before the customer ever sees them.
