Push the menu to every shop. Lock what matters, let the rest breathe.
Every franchise wrestles with menu drift — corporate ships a new tier-three service and three months later only 60% of shops have it. SalesThumb closes the loop with a master catalog at HQ that pushes to every shop on save. Required services + pricing floors are locked at the franchisee level (per the FDD compliance engine); optional services can be enabled per region or per shop; franchisees can add local services on top without diluting the brand catalog.

Push with a preview
Before a master-catalog change goes out, the push-preview shows you: how many shops are affected, how many active quotes reference the changed service, what the price delta is, and whether any current quotes would violate the new floor. You can scope the push to a subset of shops (e.g., tier-1 only, or one region) for a phased rollout.
- Affected-shops list with current vs new price
- Active-quote impact (quotes referencing the service)
- Per-region or per-tier scoped push
- Effective-date scheduling (push tonight, applies Monday)

Local additions don't dilute the brand
A franchisee in Phoenix wants to add 'pre-condition wash' as a $30 add-on. They can — but it's tagged as a local addition, doesn't show in the master catalog, and rolls up separately in HQ reports so you can see the pattern (and add it to the master catalog if it's working chain-wide).

How a shop actually uses this
An auto-detailing franchise with 60 locations rolled out 'interior ceramic protection' as a new tier-two service. With the master catalog push, every shop had it live by Monday morning with the correct $399 price and the marketing collateral pre-linked. Pre-SalesThumb, the same rollout took 6 weeks and 40% of shops never adopted it correctly.
Questions
Good to know.
- What if a franchisee already had a local service with the same name?
- The push-preview flags it. You can choose to leave the local one in place, replace it with the master version, or merge (keeping the local price as an override if the FDD allows).
- Can different regions have different pricing floors?
- Yes — pricing floor + ceiling are per shop tier, and tier is per shop. Pacific Northwest tier with a different floor than Sunbelt tier is a single config.
- What about warranty + tip-eligibility?
- Those flags are part of the master catalog. Required-warranty services automatically generate certs at job-complete. Tip-eligible services surface the tip-the-tech CTA in the photo gallery. Both controlled centrally.

FDD Compliance
Server-enforced brand-color locks, pricing floors, required service catalogs, mystery-shop scoring, and a tamper-proof compliance ledger — the controls your FDD already promises, finally enforced in software.
Royalty Automation
Monthly close, branded statements, ACH pull from franchisee bank accounts, and reconciliation to the penny — all automated against the same revenue numbers each shop already books.
Warranty
Issue a PDF warranty cert at job close with film batch, install date, installer, and a registration link. Customers can open a claim from their phone.
Quotes
Pick a vehicle class, pick a film package, hit send. The customer gets a branded quote with three tiers — they pick one and you're booked.
