Most shops outgrow single-resource scheduling fast. Once you have more than one bay, you need to track two resources at once: which tech is working and which bay they're in.
Setup
Settings → Resources → Bays. Add each bay with: - Bay name (e.g. "Bay 1", "Drive-thru bay") - Vehicle size restrictions (compact / sedan / SUV / truck / oversized) - Service restrictions (e.g. "wraps only" for a clean-room bay)
Then Settings → Resources → Technicians. Each tech can be optionally assigned a primary bay, but isn't locked to it.
Scheduling an appointment
When booking, you'll see two dropdowns: tech and bay. Both are optional — leave bay blank and the system auto-assigns based on vehicle + service restrictions.
The calendar view groups by bay (rows) × time (columns) by default. Switch to "by tech" view in the top-right to see the same data grouped by installer.
Multi-day appointments
For full wraps and full-front PPF, jobs can span multiple days. Create a single appointment with the "multi-day" toggle on → set start + end → the bay is reserved for the entire window. Customer gets daily check-in SMS with photos if you want.
Conflict prevention
The system blocks double-booking at the bay level OR tech level. If a tech is assigned to bay 2 from 9-12 and bay 1 from 10-11, that's a conflict (same tech, two bays at once) — booking is refused with a clear error message.
