Most shop owners get a monthly P&L from their accountant and a dashboard from their software. Neither tells them what actually happened.
The monthly story report does. It's a 2-3 paragraph narrative summary of your shop's month, auto-generated on the 1st of each month using Claude.
What's in it
The story covers: - Revenue vs the prior month and the prior 4-month average — with context (is this seasonal? is this a real trend?) - Service mix shifts — "Ceramic coating revenue grew 18% while tint stayed flat" type observations - Customer base health — new customers, returning customers, churned customers (no service in 12 months) - Operational highlights or alarms — "Bay 3 utilization was 94%, you'll want to think about hiring" or "Avg ticket dropped $40, here's why" - A recommended priority for the next 30 days
How it works
Claude reads your shop's actual numbers via the SalesThumb tRPC API and produces the narrative. It's grounded in real data — every claim links back to the source report you can drill into.
